Alex McKechnie is the creator of the Core X System™. Now in his sixth season as the Athletic Performance Coordinator for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, Alex has more than 30 years of knowledge, experience and innovation in sports training. Regarded as one of the worlds utmost authorities on Core training and movement integration, Alex has worked with such professional athletes as Shaquille O’Neal, Steve Nash, Lamar Odom, Luke Walton, Grant Hill, Matt Leinart, Jimmy Conners, Logan Tom, Holly McPeak, Michelle Kwan, just to name a few.
Some other professional accomplishments of Alex have been Head Physiotherapist to the varsity Athletic program at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Physiotherapist to the Canadian Olympic Soccer Team, Consultant to the Vancouver Canucks (NHL), and has developed product and programs widely used in the NBA , NFL, NHL, and in gyms around the country.

Lisa Austin is an incredible trainer and athlete with diverse experience and an inspirational style. After receiving her B.A. in Exercise and Sports Studies at the University of Texas at Arlington, Lisa knew she was destined for a career in fitness.
As an all-star athlete in track and field, Lisa was an NCAA All-American triple jumper at the University of Texas at Arlington and finished 8th at the US Olympic Trials in 1996. Lisa coached Track and Field at the University Nevada Las Vegas. Her prior experiences also includes the development of fitness training for professional athletes, including Jennifer Capriati, Martina Navratilova, and Eleni Daniliidou just to name a few. Lisa also co-contributed to the book, “Shape Yourself” written by Martina Navratilova.
Lisa is classified as a Master Trainer. Her training expertise includes everything from corrective exercise techniques to Sports Performance conditioning.
Lisa brings all of her expertise to Core X System in working with Alex McKechnie to develop the best Core Exercise Program available for you.
